Yosemite 2014

Yosemite is a beautiful place with views to Half Dome and El Capitan. Yosemite has waterfalls, creeks, mountains and trees. We went camping to Yosemite with our friends Abhay and Kaushik.

We rode our bikes at the campground and to the waterfalls. Me and my dad rode our bikes 10 minutes uphill and when we were coming back he was coming so fast and his brakes weren't working and he couldn't stop.

We swam in the creek in the  cold water. We were splashing and playing with rocks in the creek.

We got Junior Ranger badges because we filled in a paper and we made a pledge.

We a saw a native Indian who taught us Obsidian glass stone they used for hunting. We went on bridal veil trail and ate ice cream. We saw a deer, a bird and a squirrel. We saw EL Capitan and Half Dome.

We did camping with my friends at a campsite. We slept in a tent and it was cold in the night. We had campfire and we roasted marshmallows.

It was a fun trip but was boring to get there because it took hundred hours.

How we built our sandbox

First, we went shopping to Home Depot. We first bought 13 bags of sand then we came back. Then we rested. We went back to Home Depot to get another load of sand. Then we came home. I watched TV and my dad drank coffee. Then we went to Home Depot to get wood. We worked in the night but we did not finish. Then we did the rest the next day.

We dug grass and dirt. Then we poured pea pebbles.

We poured sand. We cut the wood with saws and drilled nails. Then built benches to sit. We love to play in our sandbox.

Gardening

We took the dirt from the bottom because the plants can get more food. And we pulled out weeds because they drink all the water.

We took out rocks and worms and we made it flat  and neat  then we planted seeds.  

We mowed lawn and trimmed the grass and blowed.
And we fixed some sprinklers.

Now we are watering and the plants are growing.
